Weddings are undoubtedly one of the best moments in people lives. This wedding however, was certainly one of the most sweetest events we have had the honor of seeing. After two years of dating, Liz and Scott decided they were ready to get  married. But, the bride didn’t just want a normal wedding where she walked down the aisle to the traditional “Here Come’s The Bride” song. She wanted to do something special for her soon-to-be husband.   Sharing with  Love What Matters, she said, “For every joy, he has brought into my life over the last two years, I wanted to surprise him with my entrance.” And surprise him she did!

Scott is deaf. And Liz’s surprise to him was no short of beautiful. As she got to the aisle, she suddenly stopped walking as a song came on—”A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri—and she signed the whole song for her husband as he waited at the altar. Whenever Christina sang the lyrics, “One step closer,” she would take one step closer in the aisle, a step closer to Scott.

Liz also shared that he cried throughout the performance and that he still cries when he looks back at the video! If that ain’t the cutest thing you’ve ever heard, then I don’t know what is! Once the song ended, she walked the rest of the way, and they shared a loving kiss. After Scott pulled apart, he showed off his future wife so that the audience could clap for her and her performance.

Here is Liz’s amazing performance!
